Sandra Cuevas shared her thoughts on her decision to separate from Morena and the opposition while seeking a new political party. Last January, Sandra announced the creation of her own party, but ultimately opted to remain in Movimiento Ciudadano and seek a Senate seat representing Mexico City. She explained that she became disillusioned with Movimiento Ciudadano when they began collaborating with Morena, as she believes that the country is going through a critical situation and political ambition cannot be prioritized.

Regarding an alleged romance with Adrián Rubalcava, former mayor of Cuajimalpa, Sandra Cuevas stated that she distanced herself from him when he joined Morena. She highlighted that they both aimed to help the opposition but maintained her decision not to get involved with the 4T. Cuevas expressed her distrust in the political class, believing that most politicians look out for their own interests rather than prioritizing the country's well-being.

Despite her experiences with the opposition alliance and Movimiento Ciudadano, Sandra Cuevas valued her three-year trajectory in politics, during which she managed to obtain approximately 350 thousand votes in Mexico City. Cuevas stated that she has nothing to lose and reaffirmed her commitment not to be involved in acts of corruption or criminal groups. Regarding her political future, she emphasized the importance of unity among opposition parties to counteract Morena's advance in the capital.

Sandra Cuevas revealed that Claudia Sheinbaum offered her a list-based deputy position through Adrián Rubalcava, after she was denied the opportunity to run for the head of Government of Mexico City by the Va Por México alliance. Despite feeling marginalized by the opposition, Cuevas stated that she will not give up her interest in returning to politics and continuing to work on her projects.
